Synopsis for "Secret Empire - Part One: Rightful Ruler"

In London, Peter, during an interview, manages to resolve the reputation of his company a little, also thanks to the words of Silver Sable, but the interview is canceled due to an alien attack and an attack by super-villains in New York. As Peter returns to the office, Anna Maria goes to a café to meet up with Aiden Blain, (actually Otto of her lured her there). As he is entering Parker Industries' London office, Peter feels the sense of a spider tingle and enters as Spidey, shortly after being attacked by Hydra agents who have occupied the building. However, their leader stops them saying he wants to talk to him. Peter is thus confronted with Superior Octopus, who wants the ownership of Parker Industries from him. Otto argues that the company is his, because he founded it while he was in Peter's body, and that Peter harmed it while he made it globally competitive. Obviously Peter refuses, and Otto after showing him that he used the New York office to trap Manhattan in a dark energy field. Spider-Man and Superior Octopus begin to fight, but the former is summoned along with all the other Avengers by Iron-Man for the fight in Washington. Peter rushes to assist his teammates, while Otto blows up the building.
