"Imagine a world where information can't be trusted. Not very hard, is it? News service says one thing, website says another. Society starts to fray. All we can turn to are the people we care about. But what if those people weren't who we thought they were? What if the ones closest to us, the ones we've trusted our whole lives, were someone else entirely? What if they weren't even human?"
―Donald Prescod to "Everett Ross"

The Resistance copying human identities

A homeless Skrull named Beto comes to an abandoned nuclear site, where he is welcomed by G'iah into New Skrullos, a secret sanctuary for the Skrull refugees. G'iah reveals that Gravik is leading the Skrull Resistance, aiming to make Earth their home where they can live freely in their own skin. The Resistance has been abducting humans, including members of the AAR, and replacing them with Skrull agents while the real humans are placed in fracking pods and suspended in stasis. G'iah watches as some of Gravik's henchmen, led by his right-hand man Pagon, bring in Martin Wallace, a captured member of the AAR. They show Wallace to another newly inducted resistance member, Brogan, who takes on Wallace's appearance. Once he does this, they shove Wallace into a fracking pod, and Brogan takes the imprisoned man's memories.

Spying on Falsworth, Fury, Hill and Talos find out about Vasily Poprishchin, a potential supplier of dirty bombs for Gravik. Despite Talos' concerns about crossing MI6, Fury insists on pursuing Poprishchin, emphasizing Falsworth's readiness to use extreme measures to halt Gravik. Fury believes they must be equally relentless to prevent the war and protect innocent Skrulls.
