Special Edited Version - One Piece: Fish-Man Island Saga is an upcoming retouched and condensed version of the One Piece anime adaptation of the Fish-Man Island Saga. It will air during the five-month break of the original anime from November 3, 2024,[1] to April 6, 2025, before the series transitions to a new timeslot.[2] The number of episodes will be condensed from 57 to 21.[3]
Originally planned to begin airing on October 27, 2024,[2] the first episode was delayed to November 3 due to the live broadcast of the MLB World Series.[1]
Differences[]

Visual changes in the edited version include stronger and more delicate lines, more pronounced shadows and brightness, and new visual effects. This brings the visuals more in line with the recent anime episodes. In addition, some cuts have been remade entirely.[3]
Apart from visual changes, the edited version features new music and sound effects, and has been redubbed in Dolby Atmos.[3]
The number of episodes is condensed from 57 to 21. Due to the change in the episode structure, new episode previews will also be created. These previews will feature different characters interacting in the style of older episode previews.[3]
