The In Shadows story arc is a chain of missions exclusive to Romulan characters.

The fight against the Tal Shiar continues - this time, from within. With help from various intelligence contacts, the player and their crew become deep cover operatives inside the organization, quickly rising through the ranks by accomplishing unethical orders and risking the lives of innocents in the process.

You must go to great lengths to prove your loyalty, from raiding a derelict Borg Cube or even ransacking a colony. Each and every step however brings you closer to knowing the truth of the Hobus supernova.
