- [Special Requisition Pack - Support Cruiser (Ambassador)]
- [Special Requisition Pack - Kamarag Battle Cruiser]
- [Yesterday's Enterprise Uniform]
In Temporal Ambassador the player is dispatched to study an anomaly in the Azure Nebula, and finds themselves involved in a pivotal moment in history. It was released as part of STO's 3 Year Anniversary Event.
Synopsis[]
The player approaches the anomaly but finds that it keeps changing position. After several attempts they finally manage to get close enough for a sensor scan, just as an Ambassador-class starship emerges from it.
Suddenly the timeline has changed. The player is now in command of a freighter, docking at a Tholian asteroid base (which has captured the cruiser). Upon docking, the player reports to Franklin Drake who recounts the history of the new timeline: after the Federation fell to the Klingons decades ago, the Dominion invaded the quadrant and - together with the Cardassian Union and the Breen Confederacy - managed to conquer both the Klingons and the Romulan Star Empire. The Tholian Assembly signed a non-aggression pact with the Dominion, and now controls the Tau Dewa Sector Block.
The player goes to the mess hall where they are approached by Richard Castillo. Castillo explains that the ship captured by the Tholians is the U.S.S. Enterprise-C, of which he is a senior officer. The anomaly pulled the Enterprise out of its proper place in history (a hopeless defense of Narendra III in 2344) and the timeline has drastically changed as a result. He introduces the player to Natasha Yar, who explains the situation in more detail and enlists the player's aid in helping them escape and return to the anomaly in the hopes of correcting history.
The player is required to create a diversion so they can sneak into the maintenance tunnels, and after convincing one of the people in the base to help, manages to help Castillo, Yar, and T'nae reactivate and board the Enterprise.
The fleeing starship quickly comes under attack from a massive Tholian task force, but is suddenly rescued by the U.S.S. Pastak: a Wells-class timeship from the 29th Century, sent to help restore the timeline. The Enterprise flies through the anomaly, and the player is briefly taken aboard the Pastak before history corrects itself.
Back aboard their old ship, the player enters the system again but their bridge officers are surprised to report no sign on an anomaly at all. They eventually leave the nebula and report to the mission giver.

Notes[]
- This mission rewards Commander-level versions of the Ambassador and Kamarag Cruisers ( [Special Requisition Pack - Support Cruiser (Ambassador)] and [Special Requisition Pack - Kamarang Battle Cruiser]), as well as a special tailor option ([Yesterday's Enterprise Uniform]). When replaying this mission, the rewards are changed to your choice of the two special requisition packs, 480 , or 20 .
- The reward [Yesterday's Enterprise Uniform] automatically unlocks the costume option, there is neither a Costume Pack, nor is it tradeable. The Costume consists of a Yesterday's Enterprise Chest Gear, and a Belt, forming an one-shoulder suspenders.
- In the Tholian Base, three of your Bridge Officers will appear around the area. One of your Engineers will be in the first room (about 20 meters from D'Tan), one of your Tactical Officers will be in the mess hall, and one of your Science Officers will be lying on a bed in the barracks (near B'vat). There's special dialogue for each, aside from the normal "Tell me about yourself" that says "You look familiar." Each will answer differently. They are also the only non-voiced NPCs on this map (aside from Morn, since Morn has no real dialogue).
- For some reason, the dead body seen in the room required for the accolade "Dead Jim" is always a random 23rd century human Starfleet gold shirt.
- Besides Castillo and Tasha Yar, many original characters from Star Trek Online appear in this mission as their alternate counterparts – including cameos by some of the player's bridge officers. As the mission has been included into the Klingon War episode of the Federation storyline after the 3rd Anniversary Event, many characters are actually encountered for the first time, story-wise. This includes T'Nae, Obisek, D'Tan, Va'Kel Shon and Slamek – their importance will likely remain unnoticed by new Federation players, who happen to experience the story for the first time.
- The NPC who agrees to create a diversion varies according to the player's faction. For Federation players, Va'Kel Shon agrees to the task; for KDF players, it's B'vat; and for Romulan Republic players, it's Obisek.
- The Special Requisition Pack can be claimed as your reward even if you have already completed this mission, so the faction-specific ship can be reclaimed if you ever choose to delete it. However, if you have an Ambassador Support Cruiser or Kamarag Battle Cruiser in either your active ship roster or in dry dock, you will be unable to open the reward chest. You will instead see a fly-in message stating that you may only have one.
- Prior to the release of Season Fourteen: Emergence, the Federation version of this mission was given by Ensign Kani.
- Garak was added with the release of Victory is Life, replacing Rugan Skyl.
- For 23rd Century characters (Temporal Recruits specifically, possibly standard 23rd C. officers as well) The NPC of Noye makes an appearance in the first room of the Tholian base (near Franklin drake). He states that, like the player, he too is "displaced" in time. He states the Dominion destroyed his colony and killed his Tuterian wife Clauda, he escaped and ended up at the base and is now working with the Enterprise-C survivors to escape. However he is currently (October 2018) mislabeled as "Ensign medic".
- There is a long-standing bug during the battle while the player is flying the Enterprise-C that can prevent completion of the mission. When the U.S.S. Pastak arrives, the cutscene in which the Tholian Tarantula is destroyed must to be allowed to play out. If the player skips this cutscene, the Tarantula will still be fighting, and it's health will never fall below 1%. To fiz it, just deal some damage to the Tarantula; it will allow the cutscene to work properly, and Tarantula will be destroyed.
- According to the Temporal Probe found by Temporal Recruits, the Na'kuhl are implied to be responsible for the events of this mission (and possibly the events of Yesterday's Enterprise). By altering the timeline so that the Federation no longer existed by 2410, they won the Temporal Cold War.
