The Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird is a Tier 6 Warbird which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 under the name Tactical Pilot Warbird - Okhala Class. This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Romulan Pilot Warbird Bundle [T6] for 6,000 .
Overview[]
While modern Romulan ship designs have placed greater value on size than maneuverability, the Romulan Republic has recognized the value of speed and agility in space. Therefore, a team on Mol'Rihan has developed new warbirds that will be assigned to commanders who favor a more acrobatic form of combat.
Pilot vessels are highly agile craft designed to perform advanced maneuvers that can give them a deadly edge in combat. By double tapping your directional movement keys your starship will perform a maneuver in that direction.
The Okhala-class Pilot Warbird is tactical-oriented - it features a more balanced console slot configuration and boasts higher-rank tactical bridge officer seats than other Romulan Pilot Warbirds.
Class variants
Class | Informations |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Jaeih Science Pilot Warbird, 3,000 Based on an unused I.R.W. Scimitar concept art, the Jaeih class is the most complex looking of the three Romulan Pilot Warbirds, resembling a bird in flight with its wings spread wide. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Khaiell Engineering Pilot Warbird, 3,000 The Khaiell class resembles a bird in mid-flap with its wings swept forward. Its most distinctive feature are weapon pods on the tips of the outer wings. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship The Okhala class heavily resembles the Khaiell class, but its design feels more spartan: inner wings lack the ridged pattern of the Khaiell while outer ones have open gaps in them. This simplicity further reinforces the idea that Okhala was built for one purpose only - war. |

Abilities[]
Universal consoles[]
The Okhala Tactical Pilot Warbird comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Microprojectile Barrage Launcher].
This ability is part of the Piloting Modifications Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Subspace Eddy] and [Console - Universal - Spatial Sinkhole Generator] obtainable with Engineering Pilot Warbird (T6) and Science Pilot Warbird (T6), but also equippable on the Okhala Tactical Pilot Warbird. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Specialization seating
The Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird features the following specialist seats:
Battle Cloak
The Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
Pilot Maneuvers
Pilot ships can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover.
Singularity[]
As a Romulan Warbird, the Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Standard configuration[]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Equipment slots and seating[]
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Hull strength[]
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (0.97 for the Okhala-class Tactical Pilot Warbird), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
