The Somraw-class Raptor is a Tier 2 (Level 10) Raptor which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 2,500 .
This ship can also be obtained by Klingon Empire players for free upon reaching level 10 by using their free Starship Requisition token.
Overview[]
The Somraw-class Raptor is named for the I.K.S. Somraw of the 22nd century. It has the muscle to win any battle.
The Somraw class is the first Raptor that players of the Klingon Empire gain access to. In comparison to the B'rel Bird-of-Prey, the ship has a better hull and one extra tactical station, but has slightly lower maneuverability and cannot cloak in combat.

Cloak
The Somraw-class Raptor has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.

- When starting level for Klingon Defense Force characters was raised to Level 20 (Commander) with Season 5 release, the Somraw Raptor was removed from the playable ship roster. With the Legacy of Romulus expansion and the reinstatement of KDF players starting at Level 1, this ship was returned to the regular playable Klingon ship roster.
