Each student will create a minimum of two short films and potentially collaborate on a larger scale production. Students will hear lectures on how to design, shoot, stabilize, and edit films of your own creation. Other topics will include scriptwriting, Adobe Premiere, and sound and stabilization techniques. Students will also interact and receive project support from current seniors and graduates of the TV/Film Department on a daily basis. Students will be introduced to the University’s new virtual production studio. At the end of the program, the final films will be celebrated with a live screening in our 100-seat, 7.1 surround sound screening room.
