Gates

Before driving into some cities, for example San Francisco, you will find toll gates. If you don't want to stop, you can drive through ViaTOLL and the payment will be automatically transferred from your company's account.

Traffic jams

In many places you will be forced to waste time while waiting for green light to turn on. It happens mostly in cities where there are signal lights on almost every intersections. Jams can also happen in narrow routes outside the cities and even on highways. They mostly happen when the road you are using intersects with another one - in that case jams usually are created. It is worth adding that during night the traffic is usually smaller.

Balances

There are inspections of the weight of the cargo you transport in American Truck Simulator. It is very troublesome for the professional drivers traveling through USA.

Sometimes you will receive a message ordering you to drive to a balance. You shouldn't ignore it and you should drive to the balance or otherwise you will receive a $700 penalty.
