Control: Collectibles Control guide, walkthrough

Last update: 08 February 2021

This page lists all the main types of secrets in Control. Collectibles can be a nuisance for many players. They are often perfectly hidden, and getting them is necessary, for example, to get a platinum trophy. Fortunately, the developers of Control approached the matter differently and made it very easy for players to collect achievements.

In the game you will find a lot of different items to pick up, however, their total number is much higher than the amount that is required for the trophy Bureau archivist - Control: Collectibles - Secrets - Control Guide

In the game you will find a lot of different items to pick up, however, their total number is much higher than the amount that is required for the trophy Bureau archivist. The trophy requires you to get 120 collectibles and in the game you will find more than twice as many. So you can breathe a sigh of relief - to get platinum or 100% achievements do not need to collect everything.

Collectibles are combined into Collections, which in turn are divided into several categories:

  1. Research and documents,
  2. Dossiers,
  3. Correspondence,
  4. Multimedia
  5. Special Line.

Raised items can always be viewed in the collection tab, so you don't need to read everything on a regular basis. It is worth, however, to expand your knowledge of the world and get acquainted with very interesting secrets related to the world of the game.

Collectibles in the game are very common - Control: Collectibles - Secrets - Control Guide

Collectibles in the game are very common. Nearly every room is filled with documents and other collectibles. Many of them also appear after certain events in the game - it is worth to return to some locations after the end of the plot to stumble upon a completely new case, or documents.

The game marks collectibles with an icon. You don't have to worry about destroying them, even when a particular secret is in a room where you fight.
