A good way to spice up your fun in DD2 can be to hunt for achievements. On this page of the guide, we will tell you how to pocket all the trophies.

In Dragons Dogma 2 you can get as many as 55 achievements. You will be able to unlock a large part of them simply by playing the game. However, some of them will require you to look carefully or perform some additional activities. On this page you will find a full list of achievements available in the game, as well as useful tips for each of them.

First Taste of Freedom

  1. How to unlock: Escaped the bonds of slavery.
  2. Comment: A story trophy that you will receive immediately after completing the prologue.

Arisen

  1. How to unlock: Regained your memories of receiving the Arisen's charge.
  2. Comment: A story trophy that you will receive shortly after starting the game.

Seat of the Proxy

  1. How to unlock: Arrived in Vernworth.
  2. Comment: You need to visit the capital during the story, so sooner or later this achievement will be added to your account.

Across the Border

  1. How to unlock: Passed through the gate at the border.

Dragon's Dogma 2

  1. How to unlock: Witnessed the unmoored world.
  2. Comment: This achievement is a reward for unlocking the secret ending. During the final boss fight, climb onto the glowing heart of the beast, and then from your inventory select the Empowered Godsbane Blade key item. These actions will unlock a completely new series of quests for you.

Peace

  1. How to unlock: Became Sovran of Vernworth.
  2. Comment: This achievement is unlocked with the regular ending. After killing the dragon, sit on the throne, and the trophy will be added to your account.

I, Talos

  1. How to unlock: Helped the gigantus walk again.
  2. Comment: You will unlock the achievement while completing tasks in the unmooored world as part of the secret ending.

Closure

  1. How to unlock: Experienced the end of the cycle.

One Speed Only

  1. How to unlock: Boarded an oxcart.
  2. Comment: During the game, you will often use the services of oxcarts. This achievement will most likely quickly appear in your account.

The Savior

  1. How to unlock: Used a Wakestone to restore the dead to life.

  2. Comment: You can visit Riftstone to see your current Pawn Badge progress. These rewards are most often associated with defeating a certain number of enemies alongside your Pawn.

  1. How to unlock: Defeated the gigantus in a short span of time.
  2. Comment: Achievement related to the main story boss.

  1. How to unlock: Decapitated a medusa.

Master of the Maisters

  1. How to unlock: Acquired every maister's teaching.

The Specialist

  1. How to unlock: Reached the maximum rank in a vocation.
  2. Comment: You will get this achievement automatically if you use one vocation for a long time.

A Pawn of Many Talents

  1. How to unlock: Taught your pawn a specialization.
  2. Comment: You will be able to teach your Pawn a specialization by completing certain side tasks during the game.

Wish upon the Rift

  1. How to unlock: Set a pawn quest.
  2. Comment: You will be able to assign missions to the Pawn early in the game. This will require visiting a Riftstone.

Myrmecoleon Delights

The Collector

  1. How to unlock: Collected 80 Seeker's Tokens.

The Philanthropist

  1. How to unlock: Earned the affections of 50 people.

Affinity and Beyond

  1. How to unlock: Raised a person's affinity to the maximum.
  2. Comment: This achievement is similar to the previous one. This time, however, you will have to focus on one character.

Dragon Forged

This'll Cure What Ails Ye

  1. How to unlock: Soaked in the hot spring.
  2. Comment: The hot springs are located south of the Volcanic Island Camp location.

Cyclops Abridged

  1. How to unlock: Crossed a cyclopean bridge.
  2. Comment: A makeshift bridge gets created when a provoked cyclops clumsily tries to jump over the abyss. Find the Cyclops near the abyss, jump to the other side and keep your fingers crossed that the beast won't turn out to be too aggressive.

Harpy Joyride

  1. How to unlock: Summoned a harpy, grabbed hold, and took flight.
  2. Comment: To summon a Harpy, you will need to use the Harpysnare Smoke Beacon item. When the monster is lured, grab it, and the trophy should quickly appear in your account.

Quit Playing Dead

  1. How to unlock: Revived two pawns simultaneously.
  2. Comment: If two of your Pawns fall, resurrecting one of them should also work on the other.

Dragon's Dogma

  1. How to unlock: Obtained Dragon's Dogma.
  2. Comment: You can buy a powerful sword from the Dragonforged for 110 Wyrmslife Crytals. This rare currency can be obtained by fighting dragons. You can find more about Wyrmslife Crystals on the page What are Wyrmslife Crystals used for.

An Eye for an Eye

  1. How to unlock: Petrified a medusa.
  2. Comment: Use the Preserved Medusa Head to turn the Medusa into stone. You have to wait 14 days for the beast to appear in Calignious Depths again. In the meantime, keep the beast's severed head in the stash so it doesn't rot. You can find more about fighting Medusa on the page How to fight Medusa.

Getting a Head

  1. How to unlock: Acquired a preserved medusa head.
  2. Comment: To obtain the head in a perfect condition, you will need to cut off the beast's head as soon as possible after the fight begins. Climb onto the monster and attack it around the neck. The thief vocation will work here perfectly.

The Barbecue-Maister

  1. How to unlock: Grilled every type of meat during the night and day.
  2. Comment: The types of meat available in the game are: Beast-Steak and its mature and rotten version; Scrag of Beast and its mature and rotten version; Dried Meat (created by combining two Aged Scrag of Beast) and Exquisite Dried Meat (created by combining two Aged Beast-Steak). You will have to prepare all 8 variants of meat 2 times - during the day and at night. You can fry the meat at the campsite.

Nobles' Night Out

  1. How to unlock: Attended a palace masquerade in formal raiment.
  2. Comment: Part of The Stolen Throne main quest. Before heading to the ball, put on formal clothes (Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breaches). You will find it in the Comptroller's Home in the upper district of Vernworth or you will receive it from Sven as a thank you for lending him money upon arriving in the city. Thought I'd Lost You

  1. How to unlock: Restored the dead to life at a morgue or charnel house.
  2. Comment: To speed up the completion of this task, you can intentionally kill an NPC. After about a day, they will be transported to the city morgue, from where you will be able to resurrect them using a Wakestone.

Reaper's Scorn

  1. How to unlock: Accomplished a miracle for several people all at once.
  2. Comment: Before you can unlock this achievement, you will need to obtain the Eternal Wakestone, which you will get after killing and looting the Sphinx's chest. Kill two NPCs and arrange their bodies close to each other. Use the Eternal Wakestone to resurrect the dead, and the trophy will be yours. You can then load the previous save to recover the valuable item.

Before Dawn Breaks

  1. How to unlock: Defeated the headless horseman.
  2. Comment: The enemy travels along the roads at night and finding him is a matter of luck. Alternatively, you may come across him during the Till Death Do Us Part quest.

The Tourist

  1. How to unlock: Discovered 50 locations.
  2. Comment: You will unlock this achievement simply by playing the game and exploring the map.

Are We There Yet?

  1. How to unlock: Boarded the phantom oxcart.
  2. Comment: You will get the trophy while completing The Phantom Oxcart quest. After finding the mysterious oxcart, take off all your clothing and weapons, and then jump onto it.

The Regriffining

  2. Comment: Prolong the fight with Griffin long enough until the beast tries to escape. Jump and grab it.

Back Where It All Began

  1. How to unlock: Returned to Agamen Volcanic Island.
  2. Comment: This achievement is unlocked after returning to the location from the prologue.

Plenty Arisen to Go Round

  1. How to unlock: Witnessed a brawl break out in your dwelling among your admirers.
  2. Comment: Max out your affinity with two characters, then get them to follow you home. When NPCs meet, there will be a fight between them.

Roost of the Dragon

  1. How to unlock: Reached Dragonsbreath Tower.
  2. Comment: You will unlock this story achievement automatically while playing the game.

Hope You Brought a Lantern

  1. How to unlock: Reached Drabnir's Grotto.
  2. Comment: The cave is located in the south of Batthal. You can find more about the cave on a separate page of our guide.

To the Victor Go the Spoils

  1. How to unlock: Recover your items from the Scavenger who stole them from you.
  2. Comment: Locate a group of enemies including Harpies and Scavengers. Let the Harpy put you to sleep, and the Scavenger will steal your lamp. Then kill the thief and reclaim your property. If your Pawns kill opponents too quickly, try to distance yourself a bit and give them the "Wait!" command.

I'm In

  1. How to unlock: Used illicit means to pass through the gate at the border.

The True Arisen

  1. How to unlock: Collected all other Dragon's Dogma 2 trophies.
  2. Comment: A platinum trophy.
