The Everfall | Act VII Dragon's Dogma Guide

Last update: 11 May 2016

The Everfall, or Fathom Deep, is a special place with 16 levels. Most of them contain chambers filled with more powerful version of known enemies. The structure of this place is very specific - to get to any of the levels, you need to fly up to it while falling down, and grab onto to the ledge. You don't have to be very close or hit a specified spot - you just need to be close the ledge.

It's important to note that you can explore this location in any order, choosing your challenges as you fit. To begin the "falling down" from start, drop down to the very bottom - the character will then appear at the top. It's also worth noting that you can leave this place any time you want, to, for example, continue exploring the world in Hard Mode / Endgame. The Exit is located on the top level - it's a sideway corridor that ends with a door.

In The Everfall, there is one simple quest - to obtain 20 Wakestones in order to save Quince the Pawn's master - The Everfall - Act VII - Dragons Dogma - Game Guide and Walkthrough

In The Everfall, there is one simple quest - to obtain 20 Wakestones in order to save Quince the Pawn's master. The stones can be gathered or bought (in limited quantities) in the regular game world. Only in The Everfall, they are very common. To finish the game, you need to visit several of The Everfall's levels. The stones are dropped by enemies - the smaller ones leave fragments, the bosses leave full stones. They are also hidden in chests - the ones you open or the ones you destroy.

The Everfall has 16 levels. Each of them has a pretty simple floor plan. It all comes down to the configuration of the enemies:

  • Level 1 - Exit - this is where Quince is waiting for the 20 Wakestones. There is also a trader with goods and the exit to Gran Soren (more specifically, to the Pawn Guild).
  • Level 2 - Chamber of Anxiety - here you'll find: Wight, which can summon armies if the undead. Difficulty level: Easy.
  • Level 3 - Chamber of Absence - here you'll find: Geo Sauriauns, Skeleton Mages, Hellhounds, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Grimgoblins. Difficulty level: medium.
  • Level 4 - Chamber of Hesitation - there are Saurian Sages in the first room. In the second - Archydra and the undead. The enhanced Hydra is a very challenging opponent. Difficulty level: hard.
  • Level 5 - Chamber of Apprehension - in the first room there are Goblins and a Vile Eye. In the second - two Cockatrices or a Gorechimera + two Wights. Difficulty level: medium/hard.
  • Level 6 - Chamber of Remorse - here you'll find the trader Joye, who sells very valuable items. The rooms have Grimgoblins in the company of a Golem and a Cyclops. Difficulty level: easy.
  • Level 7 - Chamber of Tragedy - here there are: Specter, Succubi and Gargoyles. Difficulty level: easy.
  • Level 8 - Chamber of Lament - this place leads Ur-Dragon, a special beast that can be defeated both online or offline. Killing it guarantees 20 Wakestones at once, but it's very difficult. Difficulty level: hard/very hard.
  • Level 9 - Chamber of Fate - there are Succubi, Gargoyles and Bats in one room. On the arena you can stumble upon a Drake + Harpies or Gorechimera + Chimera + Lich (summoning Hellhounds). The latter is one of the most difficult battles in The Everfall. Difficulty level: hard/very hard.
  • Level 10 - Chamber of Distress - there are Dire Wolves and Snow Harpies in one room. On the arena - a Wyrm. Difficulty level: medium.
  • Level 11 - Chamber of Estrangement - here is where the NPC Delec resides, with very good items to sell. In the room number one you'll have: Giant Undead, Specter and the other undead. On the arena: Metal Golem + Wight or Cyclops + Ogre + Golem. Difficulty level: medium.
  • Level 12 - Chamber of Woe - this is a pretty modest level, with only one Lich (summoning all kinds of monsters for help). Difficulty level: easy/medium.
  • Level 13 - Chamber of Sorrow - in the chambers you'll meet Vile Eyes and Goblins, and on the arena: Evil Eye. Difficulty level: medium.
  • Level 14 - Chamber of Resolution - here you'll have the undead, Ogres, Geo Saurians and Saurian Sages. On the arena: Cockatrice. Difficulty level: easy.
  • Level 15 - Chamber of Inspiration - here you'll have Phantasms and Undead Mages. Difficulty level: easy.
  • Level 16 - Chamber of Hope - the lowest level houses a Gorechimera with the undead. Difficulty level: easy/medium.
In practice, it's all very simple: explore subsequent chambers and levels, kill enemies, search the chests - The Everfall - Act VII - Dragons Dogma - Game Guide and Walkthrough

In practice, it's all very simple: explore subsequent chambers and levels, kill enemies, search the chests. Choose levels appropriately, so that it's not too hard to go through them - advanced characters will cope in every situation. There's no point in hiding that some of the enemies (i.e. Archydra) are very, and I mean very, challenging.

Having obtained the 20 Wakestones (each is comprised of several smaller fragments), go back to the top level and report to Quince - The Everfall - Act VII - Dragons Dogma - Game Guide and Walkthrough
