City Living is one of the first DLCs for the fourth installment of The Sims. Despite many years under its belt, the extension is still very popular - it is a must-have today. As the title suggests, the biggest attraction of the package is the city, specifically San Myshuno, where you can never get bored.
The new location came with many one-of-a-kind attractions, such as the Art District, a karaoke bar, and high-rise buildings. You can experience the competitive spirit in various wacky contests during the festivals organized in the urban jungle. If you are looking for more sophisticated entertainment or simply want to change your environment to a more prestigious one, I recommend visiting the wealthy district. Maybe you will move to a big city? The first apartment may not be appealing, but over time you might be able to turn a shabby flat into a luxury place. You just need to be hardworking or... use cheats.
Leaving the previously occupied nest almost always means the need to find a new job. That's why we have new features here, i.e. further career paths, such as art criticism or politics. Unfortunately, the new job positions aren't interactive - the sim disappears, and we patiently wait for him to complete his shift.
LET'S GO OUT
If you want to get absolutely everything out of City Living, it would be a good idea to buy and install another big expansion, Get Together. When both DLCs are active, a significant number of new rules will appear in the club. You will discover more reasons to consider getting the second DLC after reviewing the presentation Get Together, which is also included in the list.
Among the things that almost always have to be included in every expansion, it's worth mentioning new interactions (e.g. basketball), aspirations (tourist), traits (unflirty), skills (singing), and build mode (game console, street food stands).
