Mirthwood is an upcoming game where you have to survive, build a beautiful house and live. It is characterized by a darker team than most of the games in the genre. Moreover, it also features hand-drawn graphics. Some people may like them, some not, but they are interesting. We already know that the title will not be released immediately on consoles. But what about multiplayer? Will the game feature coop? Let’s find out.

Mirthwood – Coop and Multiplayer Explained

If you are a multiplayer mode enthusiast, we have good news for you. In their roadmap, developers have announced that they plan to add coop for 2 people. Moreover, it will be both local and online (at least that is what creators are aiming for). However, keep in mind that the release date of this feature is not known yet. Remember that there are 2 creators who work on this title and their priority will be to develop the game and fix potential bugs. So, the process of implementing multiplayer may take some time.

We can also expect some more content in the future. Developers plan to release a Family update, which as a name suggests, will allow players to have deepen relations with in-game families and it will even allow for children. There is also a plan to implement more festivities. Moreover, creators from Bad Ridge Games want to cooperate with modders, so we may count on some fan-based content. Once again, remember that it is a two-man team. So, we may expect that these features will be added over the course of months rather than days.
