Red Dead Redemption 3 Not Coming; Rockstar Employee Made a Typo
If you were hoping that a Rockstar Games employee really revealed that he was working on Red Dead Redemption 3, then we have bad news. The rumor that was making rounds online turned out to be false, and it was caused by a simple typo.
- The world became abuzz with information about work on Red Dead Redemption 3, supposedly set to begin as early as 2019;
- The rumor was based on information contained in the profile of one of the employees of Rockstar Games;
- However, it turned out to be nothing more than a simple typo.
News broke out on the web about a possible leak regarding work in progress on Red Dead Redemption 3. It was based on information contained in the LinkedIn profile of Simon Parr, an employee of Rockstar Games. In the tab with work experience, he mentioned, among others, work on AI in RDR3. As it turned out, however, it was a simple typo, of which there is currently no trace - apart from screenshots.
It's no wonder that gamers and the media picked up on the subject immediately. After the recent - to put it lightly - turbulent launch of GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition it would be nice to hear about the new RDR. This, unfortunately, will not happen, probably for a long time. We have to admit that Parr's typo made many gamer hearts skip a beat.

It's worth mentioning here that it hasn't been long since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 - the game debuted three years ago. Besides, looking at the current development of RDR 2 (or rather Red Dead Online), we can expect to see the new western from Rockstar about as "soon" as GTA 6.
