General trophy information
- Trek to Yomi allows you to get a maximum of 29 trophies - 9 bronze, 14 silver, 5 gold, and 1 platinum trophy, which is only available on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
- The platinum trophy in Trek to Yomi is hard to get, and unlocking some of the other trophies also might be troublesome. The most problematic are those that require defeating bosses without losing health and completing the entire campaign on the highest difficulty level. You will need to master the combat system and repeat the same fights many times.
- The difficulty in unlocking trophies is the lack of the chapter's select option, meaning you can't repeat stages (we have described this topic in more detail in the FAQ chapter). You have to be careful when gathering collectibles (there are several different achievements associated with them) and doing specific activities related to trophies because you may miss a chance during a given playthrough. Fortunately, the game is not very long.
- Less troublesome trophies concern, among others, using unique gadgets and moves of the main character or defeating enemies using environmental traps.

We have included the locations of Upgrades in our walkthrough of the game and the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
However, the obtained Upgrades are not transferred to the next playthrough. You have to find 100% Upgrades in a single playthrough of the campaign.

You can also follow your progress in collecting them in the dedicated tab (an example is shown in the picture above). We have included the locations of artifacts in our walkthrough of the game and the Secrets and collectibles chapter.
However, the obtained artifacts are not transferred to the next playthrough. You have to find 100% artifacts in a single playthrough of the campaign.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
How to unlock: Complete the game in Ronin mode.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: Ronin is the name of a high difficulty level. You can choose it when completing the game for the first time, although you have to consider a high level of challenge, especially during boss fights.
Follow Your Heart
How to unlock: Complete the game with the Path of Love.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to unlocking various endings. In this case, it's about unlocking the Path of Love.
The ending is unlocked based on your story choices, which you do after defeating the bosses of chapters 4, 5, and 6 (an example of the first choice is shown in the attached picture). If you want to unlock the Path of Love end, always choose the first dialogue option.
Follow Your Blade
How to unlock: Complete the game with the Path of Fury.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to unlocking various endings. In this case, it's about unlocking the Path of Fury.
The ending is unlocked based on your story choices, which you do after defeating the bosses of chapters 4, 5, and 6. If you want to unlock the Path of Fury end, always choose the third dialogue option.
Follow Your Mind
How to unlock: Complete the game with the Path of Duty.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to unlocking various endings. In this case, it's about unlocking the Path of Duty.
The ending is unlocked based on your story choices, which you do after defeating the bosses of chapters 4, 5, and 6. If you want to unlock the Path of Duty end, always choose the second dialogue option.
Men-Kaeshi-Dou
How to unlock: Execute 50 successful counters.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: The game will teach you how to parry during the first training session in the dojo - you have to press (not hold) the block button just before the enemy's melee attack reaches you. Successful parries will be required to survive many fights, and you should unlock the achievement well before completing the game for the first time.
Bloodlust
How to unlock: Perform 50 finishers.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Finishers will be unlocked shortly after the beginning of the second chapter of the game, and you will learn how to use them right away. First, you have to stun the enemy (for example, with a Stunning Combination - light, light, heavy attack) and only then press the button for the finisher to perform a brutal execution. Try to perform finisher attacks on all armored and other stronger enemies.
Big Bertha
How to unlock: Kill 3 enemy at once with Ozutsu
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Ozutsu is a heavy firearm you will unlock in Chapter 4. The perfect time to try to unlock the trophy is the fight with Morimitsu and the samurai accompanying him (the picture above), which takes place shortly after obtaining the weapon.
You have to create a situation where at least 3 unarmored enemies line up in front of Hiroki. Then quickly use the Ozutsu, and there is a chance that all three will die at once. If you fail, you can pause the game, load the last checkpoint and try again.
Early End
How to unlock: Kill Kagerou in chapter 3.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This is a challenging trophy that you should try to get by completing the game on the easy difficulty level. It assumes that Kagerou will die during the second confrontation (the one shown in the picture above), meaning he won't be able to damage the main character much and force you to play chapters 4-7. By killing Kagerou in Chapter 3, you can end the game sooner.
Remember the following:
- Play very cautiously because a successful combo of Kagerou attacks can deprive Hiroki of up to half of his health bar. One by one, block the boss' attacks and wait patiently for a good time to land 1-2 blows yourself.
- Pause the game if you have lost a lot of health. You cannot lead to a situation in which Hiroki is defeated. In that case, the game will create a new checkpoint immediately, and it will not be possible to repeat the fight with Kagerou in the same playthrough. Load the previous game state and start the fight from the beginning.
Young Blood
How to unlock: Kill the first enemy.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This is the easiest achievement to unlock - you will get after killing the first bandit in Chapter 1.
I'll Put This Spear Into...
How to unlock: Kill Sadatame without getting hit.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the very hard trophies involving defeating bosses without losing health points. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level.
Sadatame is the boss of Chapter 2. During this fight, try to block his blows at the right moment. Parring can be very risky. You can also use ranged weapons, but only if it's safe. If you take any damage, pause the game immediately and restart the fight.
No, That's Not Possible...
How to unlock: Kill Kagerou Shogun without getting hit.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the very hard trophies involving defeating bosses without losing health points. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level.
Shogun Kagerou is the boss of Chapter 3. It is best to try to unlock this trophy and the Early End described earlier at the same time.
That Woman Is a Demon!
How to unlock: Kill Aiko Demon without getting hit.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This is one of the very hard trophies involving defeating bosses without losing health points. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level.
The demon Aiko is the boss of Chapter 4. During this fight, you have to learn the boss's unique attacks and avoid them flawlessly. Watch out for Aiko's ranged attacks and focus on staying out of their reach. You can also use ranged weapons, but only if it's safe. If you take any damage, pause the game immediately and restart the fight.
Forgive Me, Sensei
How to unlock: Kill Sanjuro Demon without getting hit.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is one of the very hard trophies involving defeating bosses without losing health points. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level.
Sanjuro is the boss of Chapter 5. During this fight, you have to learn the boss's unique attacks and avoid them flawlessly (especially the ranged attacks and long jumps). Use rolls and blocks. You can also use ranged weapons, but only if it's safe. If you take any damage, pause the game immediately and restart the fight.
Clash in a Mirror
How to unlock: Kill Hiroki Demon without getting hit.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This is one of the very hard trophies involving defeating bosses without losing health points. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level.
Hiroki's Demon is the boss of Chapter 6. This confrontation requires the flawless use of blocks. Parring is also possible, albeit risky. You can also use ranged weapons, but only if it's safe. If you take any damage, pause the game immediately and restart the fight.
Demon's Dread
How to unlock: Kill Kagerou Demon without getting hit.
Trophy type: gold
Comment: This is probably the most difficult trophy in the game. Be sure to play on the easy difficulty level and be prepared to repeat the final fight multiple times.
Kagerou Demon is the final boss of Chapter 7. Unfortunately, you have to complete both parts of this rather long fight in a single attempt. Here are some key tips:
- In the first part of the duel, do not use any ranged weapons you own. Try to rely solely on blocks and parries (they're risky, but if you make a mistake, you won't waste too much time restarting the fight).
- After Kagerou changes his form to a demon, watch out for the boss's unique attacks. Especially dangerous are the burning lines on the ground, which, despite dealing minor damage, may prevent you from getting the trophy. Look for safe opportunities to change the direction.
- You should use ranged weapons. However, when using Ozutsu, you have to be very careful due to the long reload time. It is worth using it anyway because it can deplete the boss a lot of HP.
- When fighting two ghosts, use mainly blocks. Also, be ready to change direction quickly after the first ghost retreats and the second one takes its place.
- If you take any damage, pause the game immediately and restart the fight.
Unstoppable
How to unlock: Complete the game on Kensei mode.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: Kensei mode is the name for the highest difficulty level. It has one unique rule - everyone except the bosses can die with one hit. This applies to both opponents and the main character. When fighting the regular enemies, a more aggressive approach may be more desirable, especially in the case of enemies who would typically require several hits. However, expect much more challenging boss battles, during which you will not be able to make any mistakes.
Untouchable
How to unlock: Complete a whole chapter without dying and using a shrine.
Trophy type: silver
Comment: This is not an extremely demanding achievement since you can unlock it on the easy difficulty level.
You cannot get the trophy in the first chapter because the game will force you to activate the first shrine during the tutorial. Try the second chapter. Use mainly blocks instead of parries to lower the chance of getting hit. Watch out in places where several enemies will appear, and of course, during the first encounter with the Sadatame boss. You can also use Finishers to recover a small amount of health.
Malicious Mischief
How to unlock: Kill 10 enemies without using any weapon.
Trophy type: bronze
Comment: This achievement is about using environmental traps you can find while playing the game - we have included all of their locations in our walkthrough. With every tap, you can interact with the mechanism to, for example, drop a heavy load on enemies and kill them without fighting them directly. If you activate all available traps rightly, you can get the trophy already in chapter 3 (all kills based on this technique sum up).
