SamTrans operator Kevin Phelps was on his route for the day when he noticed a woman exiting her car on the side of the road. The woman unfortunately fell upon exiting, injuring herself. Kevin noticed this and, in turn, pulled over to assist the woman and check on her. Small actions like this aren't something we ask of our operators, but they act on this because 'it's the right thing to do.' We're grateful to have such kind, caring people like Phelps on our team, which is why we gave him our 'I Make a Difference' award. Thank you for your service to both SamTrans and the community. 💙
