Take Caltrain to see the rematch game between the 49ers and Chiefs at Levi’s® Stadium For pre- and post-game service to the game, Caltrain will be operating its regular weekend schedule along the Peninsula. Fans can transfer to VTA light rail at the Mountain View Caltrain Station to the stadium. Given the expected large crowds, riders are encouraged to purchase a joint adult Caltrain + VTA Day Pass through the Caltrain mobile app or use Clipper to avoid lines at ticket vending machines. Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at station ticket machines or via mobile ticketing before boarding. Day Passes purchased through the mobile app are valid on the day of purchase through the end of the service day.  Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased using the Caltrain mobile app or through ticket machines at station platforms. The mobile app can be used immediately after parking, as it requires a space number. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.  #caltrain #49ers #nfl #caltrainvtadaypass #vta

Last week Caltrain staff had the opportunity to attend American Public Transportation Association's TRANsform, a flagship event for public transportation professionals to engage in workshops, network, but most importantly learn from one another. Our Executive Director, Michelle Bouchard was part of the Making Big Things Happen, Project Delivery Success Stories. Sherry L. Caltrain made the move to electric. The new electrified rail system transforms a 160-year-old diesel corridor into a fully electric, sustainable transit route.
