If you're looking for a simple and honest romance, Tamako Love Story is perfect. No tricks or excessive drama, no love rivals or misunderstandings, just slice of life and highschool romance.
I almost dropped this because of the awful first 5 minutes which are totally irrelevant. This stupid opening was supposed to promote another anime film from the same studio. The most funny part of the anime (and in my opinion the best sequence overall) is soon after this, in the 3 minutes after the opening song. Then, even if it lacks originality, the sincerity of the characters and situations makes it a enjoyable watch.

With time quickly running out, Mochizou must confess his feelings to Tamako soon, or his dream of romance will never be fulfilled.
