Ever since Goku became Earth's greatest hero and gathered the seven Dragon Balls to defeat the evil Boo, his life on Earth has grown a little dull. But new threats loom overhead, and Goku and his friends will have to defend the planet once again in this continuation of Akira Toriyama's best-selling series, "Dragon Ball Super"![1]
God of Destruction Power
The battle between Granolah, Goku, and Vegeta continues on planet Cereal. With Granolah being the greatest warrior in the entire universe thanks to the power of the Dragon Balls, the two Saiyans struggle to hold their ground against their vengeful foe. Despite this battle being fueled by the lies and manipulation of the Heeters, Granolah's burning drive for revenge has him convinced that this is a fight worth dying for! And that's exactly what the Heeters were hoping for. Sensing something is amiss, Vegeta slowly puts the pieces together on why Granolah hates the Saiyans so much. But will he be able to figure out the truth in time? And will Granolah even be willing to listen?![2]
Story Thus Far[]
A long, long time ago, Son Goku left on a journey in search of the legendary Dragon Balls-a set of seven balls that, when gathered, would summon the dragon Shenlong to grant any wish. After a great adventure, he collects them all. Later, he becomes the apprentice of Kame-Sen'nin, fights a number of vicious enemies, defeats the great Majin Boo and restores peace on Earth. Some time passes, and then Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction, suddenly awakens and sets out in search of the Super Saiyan God. Goku, by becoming the Super Saiyan God, manages to stop Beerus from destroying the Earth and starts training under him with Vegeta. After some time, the ancient villain Moro escapes from the Galactic Prison. After regaining his youth on New Namek, Moro travels to Earth, where he absorbs the abilities of Seven-Three and the Angel Merus. He's finally defeated when Goku achieves Ultra Instinct. Meanwhile, far away on Planet Cereal, the last surviving Cerealian, Granolah, uses the Dragon Balls from Planet Cereal to become the greatest warrior in the universe, all in the hopes of getting revenge on Freeza. However, Goku. and Vegeta are tricked by the Heeters into thinking that Granolah is a powerful villain, and the two confront him on Planet Cereal![2]
Volume introduction by Toyotarō[]
"Every month I draw a minor character for the official Dragon Ball website. There's an almost infinite number of characters to choose from, so I always have fun with it. The art on this page is usually some kind of self-portrait, but sometimes we use one of those minor-character drawings instead."[2]
