Gresham Hunt are proud to have hosted our first #DEI focused #Workshop led by our internal DEI Ambassador Arunas Senulis in partnership with Holland FinTech and their Head of Operations Julie NGUYEN-MEVEL We saw some great topics being covered including debates on the use of hiring quotas, importance of DEI research and analysis of existing methodologies and how we can improve/challenge them. Data was highlighted numerous times as the key to the future of DEI – surveys, interviews and onboarding plans need to be developed more extensively to allow for collection of personal data which can be used to understand where action is needed and which initiatives are effective. We truly want to thank for all the attendees for contributing their knowledge, taking part in some excellent discussions and taking visionary action in a field which is key for our growing society. Internally we are making a strong commitment in actioning clear and effective DEI policies but our focus in 2024 is to become more proactive in the wider community by facilitating workshops/events like these and raising awareness on numerous topics for our clients to improve their recruitment efforts and general knowledge. What comes next is the most important aspect of this commitment and for us this means hosting further workshops, supporting local initiatives and continuing to advocate for best recruitment practices.
