AC Odyssey: Important choices in Chapter 5 Assassin's Creed Odyssey Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 29 May 2020
The following section focuses on all major choices in the fifth chapter of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. This time, you're in for some moral choices in Keos, Korinth and Argolida.
One of the first major choices is actually the decision in which order to complete the quests and what region do you want to visit first. Important choices await in the following quests:
- Island of Misfortune - Keos
- To help a girl - Corinth
- Follow the Boat - Corinth
- Port of Lawlessness - Corinth
- Monger Down - Corinth
- The doctor will see you now - Argolida
- Priests of Asklepios - Argolida
- Written in Stone
- Ashes to Ashes
Island of Misfortune - Keos
Once you reach the leader of the pirates, you will be forced to pay a certain amount in drachmae. By default, you'll have to pay 15,000. If you have previously attacked the pirates or lied during the conversation, the wage will increase to 17,000 drachmae.
To help a girl - Corinth
Before talking to the customer, you will meet Phoibe. The girl eavesdropped on a conversation - you can use the information in the upcoming dialogue.
The right answers are:
- Saying that the customer is going to the pig farm,
- Then, select the first option in the second dialogue (Getting a deed to some land),
- And then select the option with Deinomenes.
If you can manage to answer correctly, you will be able to resolve the conflict peacefully. If, however, you make a mistake, a few guards will appear and you will have to kill everyone.
Follow the Boat - Corinth
When you save the woman on the boat, you can agree to get her to Mykonaos instead of Korinth. This will unlock a side quest - the woman will temporarily join the crew and wait until you reach her destination.
Port of Lawlessness - Corinth
If you decide to follow Brasidas' plan, you will get a different turn of events, location and conclusion of the quest. Furthermore, the decision will have an impact in the 8th chapter of the game - Brasidas will be more friendly or indifferent towards you.
Monger Down - Corinth
This is quite an important choice. If you decide to kill the Monger in the theatre, you will lose the ability to convince Lagos in chapter 7 to leave the Cult of Kosmos. Furthermore, the decision will also negatively impact the relations with Brasidas and affect the relation with him in chapter 8.
The doctor will see you now - Argolida
If you wait for Dimas, the Hippocrates' patient will die. If you force him to come with you, it will be Dimas' patient, who dies. The best choice is to bribe the man - both patients will come out alive.
Priests of Asklepios - Argolida
If you complete the "Priests of Asklepios" quest before attempting the mission "The Doctor will see you now", you will unlock a new side quest, which involves gathering information on, among others, Chrysis.
Written in Stone
Once Pleistos appears, you have to lie and tell him you've been looking for a bath. If you don't, you will be ambushed during the meeting with the priest at the olive tree, and he will be killed.
Ashes to Ashes
When you decide to save the child, Chrysis will flee - you will unlock a side quest, though. You can get her later, but if you're in a hurry, leave the baby to die and kill the woman, to save some time searching for the woman.
