The Monster Hunter series is hard to confuse with anything else, especially since the title captures the core of the series. Yes, we hunt monsters. Big monsters. So much and so little at the same time. The game can be played solo or along with a few other players (your team can consist of up to four people) - and you'll find out that, in this case, strength is truly found in numbers. Victory is achieved much more quickly through successful cooperation than when fighting on your own.
Rise is the latest part of the series and includes a cast of dozens of monstrous opponents - both those returning from previous installments, as well as brand new creatures, some of which are even more powerful and terrifying. The combat system has remained almost the same as in the fantastic previous installment, Word, except for a few subtle improvements.
Special animal companions are a brand new feature in Rise. The cat from the previous games is joined by a dog and... the so-called wirebug. The pupper aids you in combat and you can also ride it, while the other, magical creature allows you to perform acrobatics in the air and special attacks with weapons, significantly impacting the dynamics of the game and exploration, which is no longer limited to traversing flat areas. This time we will conquer many peaks and fall into many pits.
