Update #32

Blocky Farm - Update #32 - New tractor steering system, watering trees, river interactions & Cat!

Hello all!
This week we were working on completely new Tractor driving model and some environment interactions. Moreover we have a completely new cat 8)

So first of all. Our tractor has now four separate wheels and 100%- physical - suspension. Thanks to that, steering system is super realistic now.

Secondly, player is able to drive through a river. So just take a look on this great water splash

Staying to the water topic, watering trees is an obligatory process to start producing apples

On the other hand, watering fields is optional. Player can boost plants growth

And at last but not least, please meet our completely new cat. You can help us to choose the best name for him/her. Do you have any ideas? :)

Blocky Farm - Update #15 - Tractor improved, new pet - the Cat!

Hi all! Welcome to the next Blocky Farm devlog episode. This week we have two really nice feature for you!

Tractor

One of our goals in BlockyFarm is to engage and entertain a player at every stage of gameplay. Going this way we decided to add a tractor that is available to use later in the game. A player’s task is to repair this vehicle and as a reward it becomes our next tool useful for collecting crops. It is also possible to drive on the whole map. On the gif you can see updated steering system.

The whole GUI is hidden except three buttons necessary to drive the vehicle.

What will happen when we connect Kerbal Space Program, Interstellar and Blocky Farm together? :D

Cat

Finally, our dog has a nice companion. Meet the Filemon - the second pet that is available to care of. Cat has special set of behaviours. Just look on it, how sweet our cat is! For example it can:

Catch the mouse

And get fun with just a ball of wool.

Blocky Farm - Update #29 - Train, new animal animations and bonus!

It’s been a while since we posted here but we are overworked too much last time. We are hope you will like our new features and graphics :)

Train

First of all, we have new train station and a train with a new locomotive and wagons. What is it used for? A player is able to load a train cargo at the further stage of game. It will take a lot of time to complete it but reward is worth of doing it :)

Poo

Animals can make a poo like in a real world. Just take a look on this sweet gif ^^

Update #18

Blocky Farm - Update #18 - Disco Mode, Pet houses and stroking animals

Hi all. We are happy to show you these great features.

Disco Mode

Disco mode is one of Blocky Farm’s special features that makes this game unique in our opinion. How does it work? Disco Hummer arrives to our farm from time to time and allows the player to start a big party. Huge speakers set appears, music is playing, animal are dancing and everyone is happy. Goods production is hastened by 50%. How do you like this idea? (Remember that we still use placeholder graphics).

Pet houses

We don’t want to leave our pets homeless, so we’ve added some simple buildings-decorations for Cat & Dog separately. There are several dog houses, a big pillow to lay on, some huge cardboard boxes and a cat tree. These are the rest points where pets feel comfortable and more happy. We are going to add tens of different pet houses in the final version of the game. Once again: how do you like this idea? :)

Stroking animals

One of our goals is to encourage the player to interact with ingame world as much as possible. One of the ways of interaction is stroking animals. Player can have fun with pets using simple gestures that trigger various behaviours. Our pet can jump, lay on the ground, chase its tail, etc.

Animal selfies

Animal now can take a selfie photo :D Then this image is used as an animal potrait in some UI panels. Just take a look.

Everybody knows that dog and cat don’t like each other. That’s why dog can start chase a cat. Sometimes the conflict is exacerbating and chase lasts a very long time, and sometimes ends after a while…

Hi everyone. We have some great features to share with you as always. We would be thankful for your feedback! :)

The next big thing in Blocky Farm is improved, awesome building construction process. This process is separated into four stages:
1) The appearance of the scaffolding
2) The actual construction process - building is getting bigger and more visible
3) The disappearance of the scaffolding
4) Ribbon cutting

Update #16

Blocky Farm - Update #16 - Pathfinding, medicines production, camera focus & first animation!

Hello there everyone. We have some interesting features for you today. Before you start, remember that we are still using placeholders :D

Pathfinding

Our pets now are able to find paths among building, decorations and other obstacles. We’ve implemented this feature basing on the A* algorithm. Everytime the player builds something, graph with all possible paths is recalculated and saved in the memory. Thanks to that, our pets can find a shortest possible way to the toy or something like that.

Medicines production

As you probably know, animals sometimes become ill in Blocky Farm. To heal them, player needs medicines. So we’ve added a Herbalist where some healthy syrups can be produced. The important aspect of this feature is that we’ve created a special area on the map where some buildings stand - useful but not directly related to the farm. (More info in the next devlog)

Camera focus was fixed. Just that ;)

First animation

Our animals will be as much interactive as possible. To achieve that, we will need many animations. Just look on the first one. How do you like it?

The mission is from Jerry,, the mission is where you need to trade with other farmers and additional task is put an item on sale and then if i click the trade center on the left side of the gate in the game. it says "Our Server is unavailable, Please try again later." I tried it many times but still it says that thing. How can I proceed to the next mission because of this. Please help me
