The Ferasan Slithus-class Escort is a Tier 6 Escort which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 under the name Ferasan Slithus Escort [T6].
Purchasing this starship will unlock a Fleet Ship Module discount when purchasing the Fleet Ferasan Slithus Escort.
Overview[]
A stealthy ship, the Ferasan Slithus-class Escort is tremendously agile and relatively durable for a ship with its maneuvering capabilities. It features a Railgun Destabilizer, which allows it to deliver a withering barrage of explosive blasts at nearby foes.

The Ferasan Slithus Escort comes equipped with the [Experimental Railgun Mk X], which fires in a 360 degree arc and deals heavy kinetic damage to a single target.

- The Ferasan clan names were created by a STO player and Foundry editor sirboulevard for their Foundry mission Honor of Ferasa. sirboulevard also came up with the F.D.V. registry prefix.
- Speculation: Slithus may possibly be based on an Old English word, "slīþe" (also transcribed as "slithe", Runic: ᛋᛚᛁᚦᛖ), meaning "fierce", "cruel", "terrible", or "severe".
