The Qaw'Dun-class Bird-of-Prey is a Tier 2 (Level 10) Raider which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 37,500 . This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the console-only Klingon Empire Pack for 4,000 
. It is also available as part of the following: console-only All Faction Mega Bundle for 8,000 . This ship was previously available on its own from the Zen Store; players that purchased it from there can still reclaim it from there on all their characters.
Overview[]
Birds-of-Prey are small, fast and fill a variety of roles for the Empire. They can be used as scouts, raiders or patrol ships. They're vulnerable when cloaked, but their speed and maneuverability make them hard to hit. Also, the Bridge Officer spaces on a Bird-of-Prey are mostly universal, which makes them more versatile.
The Qaw'Dun-class Bird-of-Prey (also known as M'Char class) is a Refit version of the standard QulDun Bird-of-Prey.

SKIN UNLOCK: Free The QulDun class is slightly different from the B'rel-class Bird-of-Prey. While using a classic Klingon design for the starship, the QulDun features no feathered wing pattern on the wings. The bridge section of the hull is more pointed and not as big as the B'rel's. The main hull is also slightly larger. |

SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Qaw'Dun class is significantly different from its QulDun counterpart, and features wings that are heavily centered forward, a head section that noses down slightly more and an engineering section that features a long sweeping dorsal plating that stretches half way through the neck to the head section. |

Battle Cloak
The Qaw'Dun-class Bird-of-Prey has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Raider Flanking
Frigates, Light Escorts, Raiders, and Scout Ships come with a built-in passive damage boost available when striking an enemy's rear arc. To support their high turn rate and maneuverability, standard raider flanking grants:
- +33% damage to NPC enemy when attacking rear arc.
- +11% damage to Player enemy when attacking rear arc.
