The Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix-class Escort is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Escort which may be flown by characters of any faction.
Players can obtain this starship from the Exchange, though supplies are limited. It was previously available from the Lobi Crystal Consortium, but has since been retired and can no longer be purchased there, so no new Packs are entering circulation. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix Escort].
Overview[]
The Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix-class Escort has long been a last line of defense of the Xindi people. Despite their aged design, these nimble escorts remain capable of holding their own in battle against modern aggressors, but are usually held in reserve for coordinated hit-and-run strikes, while allowing the larger Xindi-Aquatic Narcine-class Dreadnoughts to patrol their borders against aggressive threats.

Deploys a weapon platform which periodically fires bursts of phased biomatter energy.
The Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix Escort comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Xindi Weapon Platform].
This ability is part of the Experimental Weaponry Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Cascade Resonance Catalyst], [Console - Universal - Infectious Bio-Matter Generator] and [Console - Universal - Subspace Kemocite Deployment] obtainable with Xindi-Aquatic Narcine Dreadnought Carrier (T5), Xindi-Insectoid Olaen Heavy Strike Wing Escort (T6) and Xindi-Primate Ateleth Dreadnought Cruiser (T6), but also equippable on the Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix Escort. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Xindi-Reptilian Contortrix-class Escort comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
