On this page of our Elden Ring guide, you can view the locations of all Sorceries and Incantations found in Caelid. This region is located east of Limgrave. We list the spells and show how to get the individual ones.

To use sorceries, you need to have a staff equipped and have the chosen spell placed in a memory slot, which is done at any Site of Grace. The same applies to Incantations, except in that case you need Talismans or Seals.

There are 10 Sorceries and 10 Incantations to obtain while in Caelid.

Incantations - Whirl, O Flame [1]

Go to the marked area on your map. To get the spell, simply get rid of the scarab.

Incantations - Flame, Grant me Strength [2]

Travel to the area shown on your map to reach Fort Gael - Elden Ring: Caelid Sorceries and Incantations - locations - Caelid - Elden Ring Guide

Travel to the area shown on your map to reach Fort Gael. Circle the Fort from the left. You will encounter two enemies that are equipped with flamethrowers. The spell is between them.

Incantations - Poison Armament [3]

Travel to the area marked on your map (the northern part of Swamp of Aeonia). In the vicinity there is an invisible scarab that leaves footprints. Use the footprints to ascertain the location of it. Kill the scarab to receive the spell.

Incantations - Bestial Vitality [4]

Go to the marked area on your map. There you will find an NPC named Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. You'll receive Bestial Vitality after giving him the third Deathroot.

Incantations - Beast Claw [5]

Go to the marked area on your map. There you will find an NPC named Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. You'll receive the spell after giving him the fifth Deathroot.

Incantations - Gurranq's Beast Claw [6]

Go to the marked area on your map. There you will find an NPC named Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. You'll receive the spell after giving him the eighth Deathroot.

Incantations - Bestial Sling [7]

Go to the marked area on your map. There you will find an NPC named Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. You'll receive the incantation after giving him the second Deathroot.

Incantations - Stone of Gurranq [8]

Go to the marked area on your map. There you will find an NPC named Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. You'll receive the incantation after giving him the sixth Deathroot.

Incantations - Bestial Constitution [9]

The scarab is on the lower level left from the bridge entrance. Jump down and kill him to receive the spell.

Incantations - Pest Threads [10]

Go to the marked area on your map. You'll meet Gowry there. The incantation can be bought for 7500 Runes after you help Milicent and give her Valkyrie Prothesis.

Sorceries - Rock Sling [1]

Go to the marked area on your map. The spell is in the ruins, or more specifically in the chest guarded by enemies. Go down the stairs to find the chest.

Travel to the area marked on your map to reach a watchtower in a swamp. There is a cell inside, containing Eternal Darkness.

Sorceries - Glinstone Stars [3]

Glinstone Stars spell is available for purchase from Gowry in his shed for 3000 Runes.

Sorceries - Night Shard [4]

The Night Shard spell is available for purchase from Gowry in his shed for 4000 Runes.

Sorceries - Night Maiden's Mist [5]

The Nightmother's Fog spell is available for purchase from Gowry in his shed for 5000 Runes.

This one can be found in Sellia, Town of Sorcery. After breaking the seal, go to the marker on the map. The chest with the spell is there.

Sorceries - Rock Blaster [7]

Travel to Sellia Crystal Tunnel. The spell is in the shed on the upper floor.

Sorceries - Stars of Ruin [8]

You will get this spell after completing Sorceress Sellen quest - Elden Ring: Caelid Sorceries and Incantations - locations - Caelid - Elden Ring Guide

You will get this spell after completing Sorceress Sellen quest. You must revisit the area where you met Lusat.

Sorceries - Crystal Torrent [9]

You will receive the spell by defeating the Crystallians Trio in the Sellia Hideaway.

Sorceries - Collapsing Stars [10]

After defeating Starscourge Radahn, head to War-Dead Catacombs. While in these catacombs, you have to go downstairs, there will be stairs on the left side. While in the catacombs, descend through the stairs on your left. The chest with the spell is close to ghost warriors.
