What happens if the district in Vampyr gets a downfall?
However, if we start the extermination of the residents, we will omit the treatment of the sick and kill the pillar of the district. Such behavior will lead to the ruin of the district. The health of a neighborhood will be critical, and if it falls even lower, the district will become hostile. What does this mean in practice?
- Citizens will get a lost status - in practice this means they are dead. You will not meet any of the inhabitants, which of course blocks access to many unique interactions with them.
- There will be a lot of enemies in the district - in the destroyed neighborhood, you will come across a lot of classic opponents. However, there are many more of them than usual, so it is worth keeping a watchful eye on them.
- The achieved condition of the district is irreversible - once the district has collapsed, nothing can be done about it. What's more, the game doesn't give the ability to load previous saves, so you should consider whether you want to sacrifice one of the districts or not. Remember that by killing the residents, you will lose access to tips, side missions, or merchants.
