The USS Galacta (NCC-2003) was an Excelsior-class battleship in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries.

The Galacta was the second Mk II Excelsior-class battleship to be contracted by Starfleet and construction was completed by 2224 SFC. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)

The Galacta remained in service until reference stardate 2/5505 when she became lost in unknown circumstances. (TNG reference: Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual)
