You start in the same room. The order of your actions is important. Open the secret passage by using the switch in the fireplace and from the table take the fuse. If you want to get it after watching the video tape, it won't appear there.

You can optionally do the steps for the bad ending: get the bolt cutters, take the VHS tape from the wardrobe and watch it. This time, when you are walking through the kitchen do one thing - between the fridge and the microwave you can find the lockpick. You can use it to open the sideboard behind you. The drawer is empty.

Finish the recording (you don't have to open the passage in the fireplace) and then go to the kitchen - the drawer is opened and inside it you can find the axe.

Warning - if you want to get the axe in the current time you don't have to use the tape and the "second reality" - the lockpick can also be found in the basement right near the stairs on the machine.

Next, go in the attic. On the upper level of the house, in front of the stairs, you can find a button that lowers the stairs to the attic. Go up and find the basement key laying near the bed.

Now go to the ground level. The basement entrance is at the end of the hallway, right from the room in which you've started the game. Go down and open the white door. When you enter the room you can find two things: valve and key to the attic. The valve helps you to unlock the handgun, the key to the attic allows you to escape.

When you grab the valve you should be prepared because the monster will appear right next to you:

  • If you have the axe you can attack him, although this is not the best idea,
  • If you don't have the axe, in order to slow him down, you can hit him by pushing the bodies hanging from the ceiling,
  • The white door is blocked by Jack, you have to push it 3 times to unlock it - the monster won't go through it,
  • If you are hit by the monster you won't unlock the good ending but the infected one

Taking only the valve, finding a weapon and killing the monster is a good idea, but it has no impact on the ending. The handgun can be found in the toilet: stick the valve into the pipe near the bathtub, turn it and then flush the water in the toilette where you can find the wanted item. The ammo for the handgun is located in:

  • In the hallway before the stairs to the basement (2),
  • In the drawer in the bathroom (1),
  • In the attic behind the bed (1),
  • In the attic in the chest with yellow tapes (3) - you have to use the axe.

To complete this stage all you have to do is to go back in the attic and approach the ladder that leads to the window - it will open without any problems thanks to the key from the basement.

Infected Ending

To unlock this ending you must do the steps that lead to the good ending. It is unlocked when you are hit and infected by the monster in the basement. It may not happen after one hit. When you are infected on your HUD you will see blood stains. This ending will happen when you try to escape using the window in the attic.
