In the quest Raising Spirits in Diablo IV, you will face an unusual task. You have to use an Emotes, and this will make it difficult for you to complete it.
Last update: 24 March 2023
From our Diablo 4 guide, you will learn how to start the Raising Spirits side quest, as well as how to use the emote on militia to greet them. Performing this action correctly is required to complete the quest.
How to unlock the quest?
You need to find the Raising Spirits side quest marker in Kyovashad. You will find it in the northern part of the hub.
How to use the Cheer emote?
Go to the place where Militia trains. It is marked with a blue circle on the map.
To continue the quest, you need to open the Emotes window (E on the keyboard or up on the d-pad), which are usually used to communicate with other players (more on this on the How to use emotes? page).
The emote you need is in the first tab of the emote radial menu, on the right (the hands icon).
Completing the quest
Now return to Boza the guardian. You'll get 280 gold, 20 Renown and 624 XP.
