Choose the right difficulty level

After creating your character in Diablo 4, you can choose from two difficulty levels: Adventurer and Veteran. It is worth noting here that the second difficulty level is not much different from the first one, and it provides, among other things, 20% more XP, which will speed up character leveling . You can change the difficulty level later during the game.

Check out the skill tree

Each character class available in Diablo 4 has its own skill tree, which is divided into segments. Access to the next skill segments is unlocked by spending skill points in the tree. Importantly, you don't have to spend points in all unlocked categories, so focus only on those abilities that will be important for your character's build .

Decide on one primary skill

In Diablo 4 , you can choose between many skills, and some of them are related to a specific type of weapon. The primary skill is really your character's normal attack, so you should focus on one and level it up if you feel it's necessary.

Of course, you can experiment, especially at the beginning of the game, because up to the 15th level of experience you can change your skills for free.

Compare found items

As you play Diablo 4, you'll find plenty of items. Especially at the beginning, it's important to check your inventory on a regular basis and replace items with better ones, especially weapons . Don't forget to check item effects - sometimes a few extra points of defense is not worth losing a useful effect from the currently used item.

Eliminate elite opponents

While exploring the world of Diablo 4, you will encounter elite, or stronger, opponents many times. These enemies are stronger and often have additional abilities, but they also have a higher chance to drop better quality items .

Participate in events

Events are random quests that appear in various places on the Diablo 4 world map. These quests are usually given a certain amount of time to complete, and at the end players are rewarded not only with experience points, but also with various items, as well as gold and Murmuring Obols , a special currency.

Use a private stash

In Diablo 4 you will find a lot of different items that will have different stats, bonuses and characteristics. Items that you find interesting and will have special features should be hidden in a stash and stored for later - they can come in handy when you want to change your character's build.

It should also be noted here that you will have access to the hidden items on all characters from a given account .

Activate Altars of Lilith

Altar of Lilith provides characters with permanent bonuses , e.g. raising specific stats or increasing the amount of Murmuring Obols gained. Altars of Lilith are scattered throughout the Sanctuary, so it's worth exploring all locations carefully.

Explore the dungeons

Dungeons are additional locations that you can enter from the Diablo 4 world map. Inside, there will of course be hordes of enemies waiting for you, and at the end a mini boss. For completing dungeons, you will not only get experience points and additional items, but you will also unlock Aspects with which you can enchant items, adding new effects to them.

Smash items into resources

Upgrading items in Diablo 4 requires certain crafting resources. You can find such items during exploration, but also from breaking unnecessary items of equipment . You can do this at any blacksmith.

It is worth remembering that breaking legendary items will give you aspects that you can later use to strengthen other items.

Receive rewards for progress in regions

You can access the Diablo 4 world region progress tab from the map. For performing certain activities such as:

1. discovering fast travel points,
2. completing side quests,
3. completing dungeons, etc.

you receive Fame Points that bring you closer to your reward. Among the prizes you will find: XP, gold, Murmuring Obols, plus extra skill points and extra stacks of healing potions .
