General information

Fish are passive mobs that can be found in water bodies. The game currently features cod, tropical fish, pufferfish and salmon.

Occurrence

The occurrence of fish depends on their species:

1. Salmon - cold and frozen oceans and rivers;
2. Pufferfish - warm oceans;
3. Tropical fish - tepid and warm oceans;
4. Cod - cold, regular and tepid oceans.

Resources from fish

The resources depend on the species of fish:

1. Salmon - raw salmon;
2. Pufferfish - pufferfish;
3. Tropical fish - Clownfish;
4. Cod - raw cod.

Fish behaviour

The fish usually swim in shoals. Making them easy to spot.

Obviously, fish cannot survive outside of water. If you leave them on the surface they'll just die of asphyxiation.

Bucket of Fish

If you want to create a bucket of fish you have to own a bucket of water and then use it on the fish.

There an achievement related to the bucket of fish, namely I AM a Marine Biologist You unlock it by putting a fish into the bucket.
