Last update: 28 April 2022
In The Serpent Rogue, you craft tools by using the Smeltery in the Camp, near the passage to the Abandoned House. On this page, you will learn how to use basic materials (textile, metal scraps, charcoal, logs) to make tools and weapons.
Tool melting is a very important process in The Serpent Rogue. The tools wear out meaning you have to make new ones. Key information:
- The materials used in melting do not need to be tested in advance.
- The basic materials are: Textile, Metal Scraps, Logs and fuel - Charcoal. The full list can be found on a separate page of the guide.
- You can experiment with your own recipes.
- Each recipe discovered in the game world (their full list is on a separate page of the guide) or made by yourself is added to the list of recipes.
- Every melting requires Charcoal as fuel (obtained by burning wood logs)
Melting is instantaneous and you can preview the item's stats. You can later modify the power and characteristics of the weapon/tool using the second function of the smeltery - Enhancing.
