This page of the guide to LEGO Skywalker Saga contains the first part of the walkthrough for episode 6 (Return of the Jedi). Specifically, it describes the level A Plan to Save Han and the introduction to it. In our walkthrough you will learn, i.a. how to infiltrate Jabba's palace as Leia and Chewbacca, how to find the heroes as Luke, and how to defeat Rancor in a boss fight.

Jabba's Palace

You will start Part 6 by controlling C-3PO and R2-D2 in The Jundland Wastes. The destination markers will lead you to the palace with a blue terminal in front of it. You have to interact with it as R2-D2 and complete the ring puzzle.

Breaking into the terminal will allow you to start the level A Plan to Save Han.

A Plan to Save Han - challenges

This level features 3 challenges:

1. Don't Blow Our Cover - You have to complete the area with Leia and Chewbacca without causing any problems. We have described the optimal route in our walkthrough. You must avoid alerting enemies and machines in the palace until you reach Jabba for the first time.
2. Learn the Droids' Fate - You need to discover what happened to R2-D2 and C-3PO in Jabba's palace. You'll have the opportunity to complete the challenge in the first part of the mission while playing as Leia and Chewbacca. Reach the corridor where the heroes have to cooperate and pull 2 levers. Before you do that, destroy the left fragment of the wall shown in picture 1. This will reveal the bars from picture 2, behind which you will see the captured droids.
3. Rancor-cussion - You have to pick up 5 objects using the Force and throw them into Rancor. We've included that in the boss fight walkthrough. Playing as Luke, you can pick up any surrounding objects with the Force and throw them at the boss.

Walkthrough - Leia and Chewbacca

In the first part of this stage, the playable characters are Leia in disguise and Chewbacca. If you want to avoid raising the alarm (and complete the Don't Blow Our Cover challenge), then follow the path imposed by the game, don't attack anyone and don't destroy any objects that are right next to the enemy.

Take the path to the right. You will reach a trap with retracting spikes. You don't have to look for any pattern or run ahead blind. Approaching the spiked plates will activate some of them. If the spikes slide out even just a bit, it means that this plate is a trap and you need to choose a different path.

In the next area, pull yourself to the hook visible in the distance and destroy the golden object on the right. This will reveal the lever - pull it to lower the bridge. You can now place both heroes on two different pressure plates and unlock your way further.

You will reach the location shown in the picture 1, where you will have to construct and use 2 levers. This place is guarded by enemies, but you can distract them by looking into the southern room. Playing as Chewbacca, locate the weak point shown in picture 2. A short cutscene should start, showing the distracted guards.

Go back to the closed door, break the objects nearby and use them to build the levers. You also have to push the large object near the lever on the right. This will allow you to grab 2 levers at the same time.

You will reach the location where Han Solo is imprisoned. Find the box with the energy source shown in the picture. Pick it up and take it to the interactive slot. You will watch a cutscene that will end the first part of the mission.

Walkthrough - Luke and Bib Fortuna

In the second part of the mission, the most important character is Luke, and if you are playing solo, he should be the character you control. In such case, fighting is not recommended; it's best to just focus on your route and keep going.

After reaching the room with the raised bridge, use mind control (Influence) on one of the enemies. After you take control of them, direct them to pull the lever.

You'll now arrive at the place you already know - the one where you previously built the two levers. This time you can just lift the gate using the Force. Keep going until you reach Jabba and the captured heroes.

At the end of the mission, you will face Rancor.

As usual, watch out for the red lines and circles that indicate all strong attacks, e.g. Rancor's charges and the areas where objects will hit the ground. Keep moving and dodge, if necessary.

Consider using the Force to attack Rancor - pick up some nearby objects and throw them at the boss. This will allow you to complete the Rancor-cussion challenge. Remember to face the boss before each throw to make sure you don't miss.

Luke doesn't have a lightsaber during this fight. You can attempt melee attacks with your melee weapons, although they will be risky because the boss can counterattack.

The unique feature of this boss fight is that Rancor can catch heroes, who can't prevent it. You can react to this type of attack in 2 ways:

1. If you can't do anything with the captured character, switch to the other hero and attack Rancor with them (example in picture 1). The beast should release the captured character.
2. If you can see a button icon (example in picture 2) then you have to mash it (press quickly).

Luckily, Rancor only has one health bar and thus can be defeated quite quickly.
