Defeating the final boss of Jedi Survivor is not easy. In this guide we explain how to reach the arena on Tanalorr, how to stop Bode Akuna's attacks, how to use Merrin's help and how to deal with the final boss of the campaign.

Bode Akuna is the final boss of the main storyline in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and we describe the final clash with him on Tanalorr. From the tutorial you will learn how to stop red boss attacks and how to effectively weaken Bode with Merrin's support.

First confrontation with Bode Akuna

After acquiring and delivering the compass to Cere base on Jedha, you'll learn that Bode is a traitor and set out in pursuit of him. You'll take part in a speeder chase.

Finally, you'll reach an arena where the battle takes place. This is not a fully-fledged boss battle, as using Stims during it is not possible. Your defeat is a story event, so don't try to win the battle at all costs, and don't worry about the respawn message appearing after losing. From the moment the betrayer is unmasked, finding and catching Bode will become your main goal.

Bode Akuna boss - arena where the battle takes place

The fight will not take place right away. The last location you've visited in the campaign was the planet Tanalorr. You must go through a few smaller areas and reach the Audience Chamber zone. After encountering Bode, watch a cut-scene and prepare, as the final boss battle will begin right away.

First Phase

The battle against Bode Akuna consists of 3 phases. During the first phase, you can make use of Merrin by sending her attack commands every time she confirms her readiness. Her actions can make Bode more vulnerable to Cal's attacks.

From the very beginning of the fight and during it, the boss likes to scatter explosive traps across the arena. Steer clear of them and don't let yourself be pushed on them during combat.

The overall idea for the first phase is not complicated - parry Bode's attacks to deprive him of stamina and return with your own attacks.

You need to deprive the boss of about 1/4 of his health bar. When that happens, Bode will Force Pull Cal and the action is taken to the platform below.

Second Phase

One of Bode's new attacks is a simultaneous lightsaber throw and traps scattering. Stay away from traps and try to parry the lightsaber to interrupt the attack and deprive the boss of stamina.

Block or deflect standard blaster shots, but watch out, as Bode sometimes fires a red shot. To counter this attack, you need to perform a perfect dodge right before the shot is fully charged.

Another difficult-to-avoid red attack is a grabbing attempt - if successful, Bode can place an explosive on Cal's chest. If he is successful, you are out of luck - the charge will explode no matter what you do and deal a lot of damage to you. Practice countering this attack with a perfect evade.

Bode often uses Force grabs. Depending on the type of attack, quickly press the shown button or be ready to block/evade right after you're pulled to the boss.

You can also fire charged Force attacks and try to interrupt this or other unique attacks of Bode.

Third Phase

For the third phase to begin, you need to deprive Bode of 2/3 of his health bar. A new cut-scene will be activated and you can for the first time in the series, tap into the Dark Side and fire an attack that replaces a standard Slow. During its duration, you can launch very strong lightsaber attacks.

Bode, on the other hand, will begin to use the most serious attacks and these include a series of shockwaves (usually, 4). You need to:

1. Dodge sideways in case of vertical waves;
2. Perform double jumps for horizontal waves.

Each type of wave has a different charging animation so you know beforehand what to do.

After the boss loses all his health points, the final cutscenes depicting the aftermath of the battle and the ending of the main story will be activated.
