In the larger Basalt Forest region on planet Koboh in Star Wars Jedi Survivor there is a small zone called Rehabilitation Wing. You can access it through Forest Array. Essence

Starting from the meditation point, head forward to the main room. The Essence is at the edge - collecting it gives Cal a large XP boost. In the room, you may also encounter an optional boss called Yupah.

Databank - Beyond the Abyss

From Essence location, go outside and turn left in the direction of the rail. Walk across it and you'll reach a zipline device - activating it unlocks a shortcut. The echo you're looking for is right nearby. This is one of the larger echoes, resulting in a lot of XP gained.
